Gossip Girl - Inglorious Bassterds
Elle here.

I'm not going to talk about it much because i'm SO upset.
one sentence.
BLAIR AND CHUCK BREAK UP D':
How could Chuck have done that? Seriously? I thought he LOVED her. Well... THIS is the Chuck we knew in Season 1&2, but honestly, I thought he had changed. USING Blair to help him get The Empire back? And plotting it in such a way that Blair COULDN'T refuse? What the eff Chuck. WHat the eff.
Jenny&Nate&Serena: Jenny better back off of Serena's man. Seriously. Little J is seriosuly getting onto my nerves. Why can't she get off Serenate? Come on girl, go find yourself another drug dealer. Maybe Nate SHOULDN'T have saved you, and left you to get raped. Little J is going to break up Serena and Nate.. and I WILL NOT be happy about it!
Sorry, I'm not even going to TOUCH the topic of Vanessa and Dan, partially because I skipped through all their parts, and becuase i DON'T want to talk about them. They don't even fit into the plot line anymore. So whatever.
Yes this recap is short and bitchy. You know why? BLAIR AND CHUCK BROKE UP AND IT BROKE MY HEART D:
I hate Jenny Humphrey. HATE her. HATEEEE. :@
Gossip Girl - Empire Strikes Jack (coming Soon)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gossip Girl - The 16 Year Old VIrgin
(done by Elle, once again)
Blair and Chuck: Chuck gets to know his mother more. However, a lawsuit is here. Chuck is being sued for sexual assault from girls that were in his dad's hotel, which makes no sense because the girls weren't even IN the country that time. He gets his lawyers to work on it (becuase he doesn't want to give his mom a bad impression of him.. awhh.. he's growing up! He's getting so mature!). He tells Blair he would never do that to her anymore (awh!). Later when Him Blair and Emily are walking out after lunch, a bunch of reporters are waiting for him and question him about the lawsuit. Then.. a character comes back. No, not Georgina, Jack Bass. That's right, Jack Bass. Chuck figures he has something to do with it, with the new lawsuit, it seems perfect he's coming back. To do what? To take over Chuck's hotel when he can't run it anymore. Chuck tells him that'll never happen. They go on to talk about his mother, and Jack basically tells him he (Chuck) shouldn't be too sure, it could be a random woman. Thus, Chuck offers a drink to Emily to send for a DNA test. He tells Blair this before the big dinner, and Emily overhears. Of course, she's upset and doesn't make it to the dinner, where she was supposed to meet Lily and Rufus. At the end, the lawsuit has gotten out of hand, and Chuck needs to step down. Blair would be an obvious choice, except he can't hand a hotel to a 19 year old girl. The only other option is Jack (which is what Jack wanted... or is it?) The DNA resutls come, Emily IS his birth mother. Of course, he goes, gets her to sign all the papers, and she is now the owner. However, at the end, we see Jack at Emily's hotel room all happy because she showed him the papers are signed. The lawyer and Jack and Emily must have teamed up (it is implied). Chuck has a lot to look after now. D:
Jenny and Damion and Serena and Nate: Jenny skips classes everyday to hang out with Damion. Damion tells her that with every girlfriend he has, comes sex. Jenny of course, makes excuses about going back to class everyday when they get to that level. Which Damion finally says somehting about. He tells her to meet her tonight at 8 where they will do it. She agrees. However, Rufus finds out about her and grounds her, and gets her teachers to report he presence in class (that must suck). Jenny, of course, ends up getting out somehow and hiding. She's no where to be found. But Serena and Nate call her out and come with a plan. Serena sees Jenny has fallen hard for him (not a good thing) and she gets Nate to take her out for lunch. Then Serena calls Damion over to have lunch (expecting him to try to do something to her, and at that point Nate and Jenny will witness it). It doesn't turn out that way because Nate calls Rufus to tell her where Jenny is. Jenny is now in serious trouble. She has to go to the dinner tonight under supervision by Rufus. Nate goes over to her to talk, she tells him he doesn't really care about her (oh, but he DOES!). Damion then comes an they walk off, of course Nate tries to stop them, but Damion punches Nate (=O!). Serena is shocked. Jenny and Damion go to a different hotel where no one can find them and they proceed to do it. However, after Serena's talk with Jenny, she realizes she isn't ready. And she stops, just in time. Damion calls her a child and leaves. Jenny goes home, devastated. She's learnt her lesson, the hard way. Serena goes into her room and asks her about it. Jenny proceeds to tell her she DID do it with Damion (lies) and tells her to leave.
Dan and Vanessa: They decide not to show their romance in front of Rufus. At first Vanessa can't resist. Then Dan can't resist. Basically.

That's a wrap!

Scarlett (since Scarlett has forgotten about this, Elle will do it :] )
Gossip Girl - The Lady Vanished
Chuck, Blair, Serena and Nate: So the Lady Vanished is basically revolving around Chuck and his now found mother. In the beginning of the episode Chuck reveals to Serena, Nate and Blair that the lady (Emily Fisher) is indeed his birth mother. Chuck says he doesn't want to know his mother and Serena and Nate purposely gets his mother to come meet them at a  restaurant. It is here where Chuck assumes his mother just wants to get to know him for his money and writes her a check and to leave, which, she accepted (NOOOO!!D:). We find out later that Serena did that in order to have her own idea why her father didn't want to see her when she went looking for him over the summer. When she (Serena) goes home (which technically was NOT her home, because is was Blair's..) she finds Nate there waiting for her. And then after a bt of reassuring she calls her dad once again (not knowing if that is his actual number) and telling him she doesn't want to know him anymore.
However, Serena makes it up by finding Chuck's mother and getting the truth from her. --wait for it because this is truly sad-- Chuck's mother didn't want to know him. She was the one who told Bart that she wanted nothing to do with him (And Chuck thought his father was mean). It turns out that she and Bart were never married but once Bart saw his baby son, he was sold and wanted ot keep him and even offered to marry Emily. Emily refused and left, wanting nothing to do with him. Even though Bart gave her money every year, she said she wouldn't have bothered about Chuck even if he didn't pay her (ultimately sad, who wants to here all this about their own mother?). Luckily, she only told this to Serena and later gives back the cheque to Chuck and has some catching up with him :)
Meanwhile, Rufus and Lily, same old story.
Jenny and Damion: Damion is found sleeping over in Jenny's room, by Lily so she calls Rufus. Jenny wants to prove to Damion that she's tough (she likes him) and spills his drugs on the floor, which she then claims to be hers (baddd girl). Of course, Rufus, being a father is furious and gets her to explain, which she replies with attitude (holy crap, this girl is outta control). Damion then steps in and confesses it is his, his father uses them and he took them in order to get his father to stop. He also tells Rufus that he was telling Jenny about it because she makes him feel better. Jenny glances at Rufus and Lily the whole time seeing if they'd buy it. They did. Afterwards Jenny compliments him on how well the story was told, it is at this point where Damion tells her that the story was true. :O. Jenny is shocked and later sneaks off to meet him, where they share a kiss (at hte very end of the episode).
Dan and Vanessa: Vanessa invites him to her university party (as friends of course) and they both bring dates ("dates" which is Vanessa's ex and some girl Dan met in the morning). The drink too many mojitos and behind this picture taking thingy they kiss. Vanessa and Dan talk it out and Vanessa tells Dan that she wishes he'd never told her that he loved her, which of course, is like a knife into Dan's heart D:. At the end of the episode him and Vanessa confess that they both are trying to resist the sextual tension between them by staying friends. However they cna't be friends becuase they are resisting each other (in a nutshell) so they give it a try and end up..  i THINK they 'did it' at the end. I think. Not sure :]

So there was my recap. Scarlett said she was gonna write a shorter one, but I like going in deets :] Plus it WAS shorter than last weeks!

Elle:
Gossip Girl - The Hurt Locket
So, yesterday the highly anticipated Gossip Girl returned with, well, it's usual scandalous plot. But before I go on, I heard from Scarlett that the ratings weren't that good.. D: Come on guys! Watch it! It was SERIOUSLY a good episode! -Now for the recap and review-

So the episode started with a short recap of the episodes before the show was put on hiatus, which I found incredibly helpful because as much as I LOVE Gossip Girl, i did forget what happened before. This weeks episode had Nate and Serena back as the Golden Couple. Blair and Chuck lacking some sexual tension. Jenny is getting more and more sucked into the drug dealing business (btw, is it just me or does it seem to you that the guy playing the drug dealer looks similiar to Zac Efron? Idk, just a thought that occured to me). Dan is.. well he had no major thing with Vanessa, in fact, Vanessa wasn't even in this weeks episode. Lily and Rufus have some problems, (once again), i really dont' get what the point of their plot line is because it's ALWAYS the same, isn't it? They are always happy, then Rufus discovers something about Lily that gets him mad, he leaves for a bit and then in a ocuple episodes down the road, they go back together. Really pointless...

Anyways, so Nate and Serena are soo cute! Not to mention Chace Crawford is incredibly good looking :]. But they both decide ot "take things slow" (when they said this, i was doubting them. I mean how can SERENA van der Woodsen take things slow?) and Blair (being Blair) tells Serena she needs to play games with Nate because Nate has wanted her for so long and now that he has her, he'll get sick of her. "Nate will get SICK of eating icecream" - B . "B, I'm NOT icecream!" - S . Haha those lines were quite funny. But Serena takes this into consideration. Meanwhile, Nate meets with Dan at the coffee shop and they talk about Serena. Dan gives him some advice because he dated her before. So Nate cancels his date with Serena, their very FIRST official date to the French Ambassador's Dinner (which pisses Serena off, who then calls Damon, the drug dealer to be her date).

Blair and Chuck's plotline have gone downhill a bit, and I must admint, i'm quite sad.. I missed the cute moments between them. Especially Blair's evil ways. I miss the Steps on the Met and everything. Chuck tells Blair that he has no interest in this locket that some lady left at his father's grave when he went to it. However, we see when Blair leaves, he calls his private investigator to find out more about the person who had htis locket because obviously she meant a lot. Blair later finds this (becuase she's in his house waiting for him for lunch and dinner) and gets mad becuase he's kept this from her.

Meanwhile Damon comes to look for Jenny at her house, carrying a "gift" (a box filled with pills) that he needs her help with. Damon needs to somehow give those pills to the French Ambassador's Daughter but he can't put it in a purse or something because everything is getting checked. Jenny comes up with a brilliant idea of sewing a exact replica of a shrug that the French Ambassador's Daughter has worn before and sews pockets inside so she "wears" the pills. Damon compliments her on that but tells her he has to cancel his date with her to the dinner because he's going with Serena, which ticks her off. So she threatens to expose him, but of course being a drug dealer filled with excuses, he has stuff to say that shuts her up quickly. He leaves, leaving Jenny steaming mad. (she's liking this guy, definitely)

Now.. i'm getting tired of typing.. so basically i'm going to go fast from here. So at the dinner Nate goes alone but sees that Serena is also there with Damon. Of course he gets mad, and out of no where Jenny shows up saying that he's helped her out many times so now shes going to return the favor. And during the dinner Damon continuously tries to get Serena to take off her shrug (the one Jenny made that contained the pills) but fails. Jenny is there to watch him struggle. (wow, that IS very 'queen' of her) Nate watches Serena throughout the dinner and then he grabs her while she's walking through the hall. They end up making out and everything. She takes off her jacket then. Damon is upset because he can't get it to his client and then Jenny notices the shrug is on the floor in the coat room (where Nate and Serena are making out) and tells the lady to put it back on the rack becuase it's the Ambassador's daughters' and make sure she leaves WITH it. Which means of course, the daughter leaves with the pills.

Chuck continues to look for his mother. He stops by the dinner to tell Blair that the lady he saw may actually be his mother. Even though Blair is looking for powerful men to get her door open to climb up the social ladder once again, she realizes what this means for Chuck and leaves with him even though she was talking to the man that could open her door up. (which was really cute!) They both go to where Chuck is meeting this woman. She basically puts down all his hopes saying that Bart Bass probably gave that same locket to every single on of his girlfriends, and she was no different. Chuck believes everything and leaves, dissapointed. However, Blair (and i LOVE her even MORE for this) goes up the lady and basically tells her she know's this lady is lying because the look the lady gave Chuck was this 'doe-eyed' look which she can see RIGHT through, even if Chuck may not. And all Chuck's life, he's been hated on by his father becuase he believed he killed his mother and if there was any information she knew about him, she (Blair) would love to know. At the end of the episode we see the lady calling Chuck, but his phone is on vibrate and he doesn't pick it up, and ...
She's holding the other part of the locket, which is a picture of her and a baby. Implying the baby is CHUCK BASS. Which means.. that LADY IS HIS MOTHER!

GAHH I CAN"T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEKS EPPY!!!
- Check back for next weeks review! -
